Things to do / think about in the Summer when you’ve got nothing else to worry about

• FRACTALS. how can you rationalise fractals? is there a method of creating them? can they be dimentionalised?
• what shapes of clothes actually suit you
• remember/learn how matrices work and how they relate to life
• make some jewels
• make finishthin.gs
• make the social streamer thing
• read
• PERENELLE
• LEARN HOW TO MAKE LIGHTS

new plan for the evening:

• eat all the cookies
• eat all the micro chips with extra vinegar
• watch that c4 show about fried chicken
• listen to audiobook

good things:

• redesigning lifescouts tumblr, you can see my version here yay
• my friend’s coming down from Durham on friday for an interview and we’re going out with some other friends who are in lnd for a few months
• generally quite happy
• plenty of tea around here
• found a machine at un today which has made all my rings pretty and shiny

bad things:

• got an essay due friday and i’ve done about a quarter and all the research books are out of the library on loan so it’s going to suck
• paid my rent for the rest of the year today so I’m £496 into my £500 overdraft.. so the next few months are going to be interesting..
• mildly sleep deprived

I’ve been driven to start a daybyday written diary due to my obsession of documentation and how i basically do that on here really informally, so since i’m writing it somewhere I’m not diarying here as much (funny part is that i have a rule in my new field notes diary which is I have to write a full page a day no more no less, so some days are like ‘can’t say i’ve achieved much today, watched s7e5 of dexter’ and some are like ‘met —, went to —, ate —-‘)

holy crap I get home and the first thing I see is a new dash!?!?!?!?!! and the usual critique -

Things I like:

• that you can see your inbox for separate blogs, some of these ancient messages are hilarious
• drafts, followers and posts on the main page
• search tags bar at the top
• the settings are all in one place

Things that I don’t like:

• IT’S SUCH A PAIN TO GET TO CUSTOMIZE NOW
• the settings are all in one place so I’ll get loads of messages being like ‘I cant customise my theme help pleese the link isnt therere’
• there used to be three blogs (the three I most use) at the top (alongside ‘dashboard’) that I could get to with one click and now it takes two to tango
• the search tags thing would be miles better if when you were on your tumblog’s posts page it searched your tagged posts
• you can’t reorder the sideblogs in the dropdown list which was a massive plus to the last update.. I emailed them about this and I got a reply that was just ‘this option is not available’ ugh
• I know it’s totally irrational but you can’t see your queue unless you have posts queued

• back from Corners
• spent £400 on jewellery equipment for my summer line~~
• I had an idea about making a line of themes for specific use and today i made one of them but idk if I just want to release it on my theme site instead so i can make some moneyy
• this theme orgainisation thing is confusing me I’m going to make some lists for it

1. got a merit in foundation diploma woop woop
2. booked my (new) car in for a decent stereo fitting on wednesday
3. going to make a cake

This is why I can’t wait for the holidays when I can do each of these things on any day I fancy. I just want this to be my life.
