So I bought a new phone.
This brings the amount I’ve spent on Amazon in the last 6 months to a vomit-inducing £1578.54
I should be banned from Amazon. Seriously. Mind you that does include a phone, a camera, and an insane book set. But really you should ban me. I blame it on Amazon Prime.

So I’ve just had one of those moments where I realise I can buy something I’ve been lusting after for ages because I have a bigger overdraft.
My contract doesn’t end until September but after 14 months this phone is failing to perform basic functions like text and call so I really need a new one. I want to get out of this horrid loop of paying for an expensive contract and needing a phone several months before it’s up so I’m just going to buy a phone and then when it’s up I’ll swap to a phoneless contract which will be way cheaper.
I decided I wouldn’t have enough money all summer for the Xperia Z at £550 and that I’d get the SP at £350 when it comes out at the end of the month but now on Amazon the Z is only £440 and I WANT IT SO BAD. So I’m going to buy it. fuck the police.
I so don’t deserve it though so I need it to be some sort of incentive to either do uni work or do work that will earn me money. I probably will buy it anyway though.
I increased my overdraft today which is almost definitely a terrible decision.
I’m going to start setting monthly tasks for myself. so this month is no unneccessary spending. lol like that’ll work. I spent twice as much as I should have last month.
update from a few hours later - okay right so I just spent £270 on flights for a summer holiday but that doesn’t count right? because it’s not really for this month? please?
I temporarily have an absurd amount of money in my bank account and I’m slightly concerned I’ll just do a runner with it.
EVEN BETTER that money I found out about the other day is being moved into an ISA with an allowance limit of £800 less than the total sum! So I have £800! and I’ve already spent half of it! On a camera! On this camera!

oh shit I exceeded my overdraft, I’m scared I don’t like having no money this is not cool. What’s also not cool is that I pay £70 car insurance every month for a car my brother is using, and it’s really not cool when that pushes you to -£1007. My lovely mum has lent me £100 but I won’t get any more until the 1st because my silly Paypal account screwed up so I have to live on £100 for 12 days I really don’t know how to live within my means god help me.
So apparently the monday before last I didn’t put my boris bike in the thing properly when I was meeting up with people for pre drinks and somebody took it and went to Canary Wharf and now I’ve been charged £50 and I can’t live without that I only have £10 left in my overdraft oh god help me
update 18/2 yay tfl is cool they gave it all back in 1 working day i am impressed
becoming genuinely terrified about having to spend the next 3 months earning enough on the side to pay for food and car insurance and life supplies so I don’t push my -£480 over my £500 overdraft
